The BEST trip of my life! Which sounds extremely dramatic, but it is true. I made the most amazing friends and connected with God in ways I never knew I could. My testimony had been struggling and I was feeling so disconnected from my Heavenly Father. After this trip my testimony is greatly strengthened and my daily countenance is changed. Glenn helped me realize you can think in daily parables like the Savior did and when you spend less time on your phone and more time outside, it is easier to find the Godly places. I still talk with my friends from Costa Rica often and love to see them and reconnect. Glenn was the PERFECT guide and so was his friend Rob. They are the funniest spiritual giants I have ever met. I enjoyed hearing their spiritual takes on things and listening to them share parables from the days adventures. I did things I never would have had the courage to do before. I grew so much in such a short amount of time. Best trip of my life!!!

This trip was so amazing! Glen does such a good job organizing everything an making sure that you will have a fun time! You will do morning scripture study and nightly devotional everyday and then at the very end something called 'Hour with God'. These trips are all about disconnecting from the world and our phones and all the crazy things around us so we can make new friendships (you will leave with 30 new best friends) and reconnect and rekindle our relationship with God! I learned so many amazing things from the world, my new friends, glen, and especially God on both of the trips that I have gone on and it has changed my life in so many ways! I would 100% recommend going on one of these trips because it will change your life and will be one of the best experiences of your life! This trip in particular going to Panama was so amazing! The people there have nothing and yet have everything! This trip helped me see everything in my life I take for granted and how amazing and happy life can be without all of the material things. It was truly amazing to experience their culture and have people so happy to see you and treat you like you are family that you have never even met before! If you ever have a chance to go on a trip with YWE, Do IT! Don't let the opportunity pass you by because I can promise you that it will change your life!

As a mother, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible opportunity you gave my daughter. Thank you for the time, planning, sacrifice, and love that went into making this experience so meaningful. She came home with so much more than memories. She returned with a greater appreciation for the people of Panama, their beautiful culture, and the kindness and generosity they showed her. The experiences she had and the relationships she built have broadened her perspective in ways that will stay with her for years to come. Even more importantly, I have seen a wonderful spiritual change in her. She has returned with a stronger testimony, a deeper love for the gospel, and a renewed desire to serve others and grow closer to Jesus Christ. As a parent, there is no greater gift than seeing your child strengthened in her faith. I know experiences like this don’t happen by accident. They are made possible because of leaders and volunteers who willingly give of their time, energy, and hearts to invest in the lives of young people. Your example of Christlike service has made a lasting impact on my daughter and on our family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping create an experience she will treasure for the rest of her life. We are truly grateful for everything you have done. Every time I attend a YWE trip I come home feeling like a new person and best of all, I always feel closer to God. YWE helps so many people get out of their comfort zones, whether it is being vulnerable and sharing hard things, being adventurous, or trying something new. I am so grateful for this program because as the week goes by I see all the kids in my group grow closer to each other each day, as if we have known each other for years. We all create new memories that are unforgettable and we leave with forever friends. I also see the kids grow closer to God even when they could be struggling with hard things and it is so great because we all help each other with whatever we could be going through. I just got back from an incredible women’s trip to Costa Rica, and I can honestly say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences ever. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned, from the amazing adventures to the beautiful places we stayed. April and Lindsey did such a great job creating the perfect balance of fun, relaxation, and meaningful connection. The excursions were absolutely amazing — full of adventure, laughter, and memories I will never forget. Whether we were exploring, relaxing, or trying something new together, every activity brought the group closer. What made this trip truly special was the atmosphere they created for all the women to connect, support each other, and build genuine friendships. It’s rare to find a trip that leaves you feeling refreshed, inspired, and so connected, but this one did exactly that. So grateful for all the hard work, energy, and love that went into making this experience so special. Costa Rica was beautiful, but the women and connections made it unforgettable.
