Indonesia is one of the last truly wild places left on earth.

On this unforgettable YWE expedition, you’ll journey across remote islands, sail through Komodo National Park, trek through jungles and mountain villages, climb volcanoes, snorkel with manta rays and whale sharks, and come face-to-face with the legendary Komodo dragons.  

But this trip is about far more than adventure.

When you leave behind the noise of the world, put away your phone, and spend time in God’s creations, something changes. You begin to slow down. You begin to think differently. You begin to hear God again.

Throughout the expedition, we’ll have devotionals, scripture study, journaling, quiet moments in nature, and opportunities to reflect on who you are and who God wants you to become.

You’ll trek deep into the mountains to the hidden village of Wae Rebo, where you’ll stay in traditional homes with local villagers and experience a completely different way of life.  

You’ll sail on a liveaboard boat through turquoise waters, hike to breathtaking viewpoints, snorkel over vibrant coral reefs, relax on pink sand beaches, swim with giant manta rays and whale sharks, and explore islands that feel almost untouched by the modern world.  

One of the greatest challenges of the trip will be summiting Mount Tambora, the site of the most powerful volcanic eruption in recorded history. Standing on that mountain is a reminder of both the power of nature and the greatness of God’s creations.  

This trip will push you physically, mentally, and spiritually. There will be moments that stretch you, humble you, and change you.

You’ll return home with stronger faith, deeper friendships, more confidence, and memories that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
